Dr. Soubrata V. Raikar, M.D.
Dr. Raikar’s philosophy is centered on the quality care that patients receive when they come to Midwest Anesthesia and Pain Management. He received his medical training at Creighton Medical School with residencies at Texas Tech University and a fellowship at the University of Nebraska Medical Center. Dr. Raikar has practiced for over 20 years and is published in the latest interventional pain therapies.
Melissa Okun, APRN
Melissa Okun, began her nursing career in 1995 when she graduated from Des Moines Area Community College (DMACC) with an Associate Degree in Nursing. In 2010 she obtained her Bachelors of Science in Nursing (BSN) from Grandview University, then followed with a Master’s degree in Nursing (MSN) from Creighton University in 2015. Melissa is certified as an Adult Geriatric Adult Acute Nurse Practitioner (AGACNP) from the American Nurse Credentialing Center. She’s licensed to practice in both Iowa and Nebraska, and is also a Board-Certified Emergency Nurse (BCEN).
Gentry graduated from UNMC College of Nursing in 2013 and worked as a nurse in the ICU and PCU at Mary Lanning Healthcare in Hastings, NE. While working at Mary Lanning she obtained her Masters of Science in Nursing from Creighton University in Family Medicine and graduated in 2016. Prior to working at Midwest Pain and Anesthesia, Gentry practiced in Family Medicine at Mary Lanning Healthcare in Hastings.
